A man is in the hospital after being struck by a bus in Manhattan Saturday morning, authorities said.
A 30-year-old man was laying down on the road on Park Avenue between 21st and 22nd streets when an MTA bus traveling northbound struck him, police said. The bus kept going, possibly not knowing that anyone was struck because the man was already on the ground, police said.
He may have been intoxicated, police said.
The man was unconscious with head trauma and taken to Bellevue Hospital, police said. He remains in critical condition, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
