Police say a man was injured after being struck by a taxi on Long Island.
Southampton Town Police say the unidentified man was walking along Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays when he was hit around 5 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The taxi driver who hit him told police he did not see the man.
The driver's name has not been released.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the crash.
