Man Dies After Crashing Into Bronx Dry Cleaner

A man has died after crashing his car through the front of a store in the Bronx, police said.

The 37-year-old man behind the wheel of the black Chevrolet Tahoe first struck two unoccupied cars before striking a light pole and then plowing through the front of the dry cleaner at the intersection of Allerton Avenue and Barnes Avenue, police said.

Officers found the man unconscious and unresponsive in the car after the crash around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Michael Ragusa, the owner of the dry cleaning service, said he was shocked.

"This is the second time this happened," he said. "I can't believe it. ... This is really something."

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
