A man was assaulted and left unconscious in a roadway where he was then struck by a sport utility vehicle that fled the scene and police are asking for help finding the suspects.
A fight was reported early on July 21, and a 33-year-old man found lying in the roadway was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he remains in critical but stable condition, the Bergen County prosecutor's office and Palisades Park police say.
Video surveillance indicates the victim was assaulted by three men and left unconscious in the boulevard's eastbound lanes, where he was struck by a four-door SUV that fled the scene, authorities say.
