Police say a 21-year-old man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught driving nearly 100 mph while drunk in Long Island.
Oscar Reinoso was stopped after he drove a black Volkswagen 97 mph past an officer on Route 27 near exit 63 in Westhampton on Sunday just before 7 p.m., according to authorities.
Police say Reinoso showed signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests at the scene.
He was charged with DWI and traffic violations. It was unclear if he had an attorney.
