Long Island Father and Son Busted on Drug Charges: Police

A Long Island man and his son face assorted drug charges after being busted with a stash of heroin, cocaine and oxycodone, police said Saturday.

Joseph Fearon, 40, and his 23-year-old son Jesheme were arrested Friday night after a special law enforcement team in Suffolk County executed a search warrant in their home, investigators said.

The search uncovered 318 grams of heroin, 730 grams of cocaine, 36 grams of oxycodone and $200,000 in cash, police said.

The elder Fearon was charged with criminal possession of controlled substances. Investigators didn't disclose the nature of the drug charges lodged against his son.

There was no indication that either man had obtained a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
