1 Killed, 1 Hurt When Gunman Shoots at Crowd Outside Long Island Home: Police

A 25-year-old man was killed and a 21-year-old was injured after a gunman fired into a crowd outside a house on Long Island Wednesday night, police say.

Daniel Carbajal was shot in the head outside the home in Huntington Station at about 9:30 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, police say. The second man was shot in the leg and was taken to Huntington Hospital.

No one else was injured in the gunfire, police say. The suspect fired two more shots at the house after hitting Carbajal and the other victim and then ran away.
