Four men in their 20s have been indicted by a federal grand jury in the carjack killing of a Bronx cab driver.
The charge, carjacking with intent to cause death, carries a maximum sentence of life in prison or death. Prosecutors will decide later whether to seek the death penalty.
The men were expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
The indictment names Takiem Ewing, Tyrone Felder, Kareem Martin and Tommy Smalls, all of the Bronx. They were arrested last month.
Smalls' lawyer said Smalls would plead not guilty. Lawyers for Felder and Ewing would not comment. Martin's attorney did not immediately return a call.
They are accused in the Aug. 12 killing of Aboubacar Bah. Prosecutors say they have video that shows Bah's body being dumped from his cab onto a Bronx street.
