A livery cab driver is in stable condition after being shot three times in an early-morning armed robbery attempt in the Bronx Sunday, police said.
Police said a suspect entered the victim's vehicle on the corner of White Plains Road and Lafayette Avenue just after 5 a.m.
The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money, then shot the driver three times, police said.
He fled the location without any money.
Police say the suspect is in his 20s with a goatee and was last seen wearing a tan jacket and a dark hoodie with "ABERCROMBIE" written on the front.
