1. L Train Shutdown Officially Has a Start Date

It's Halloween, but the L train shutdown officially having a start date could be the scariest thing today.

3. Head on Down to the Village Halloween Parade for a Spooky Time

If you are looking for a real treat and a few tricks head on down to the Village Halloween Parade.

It kicks off at 7 p.m. on Spring Street and goes up Sixth Avenue to 16th Street.

You can expect the same spooky floats, puppets and costumed marchers. Also be on the lookout for extra security because it marks one year since the terror attack in Tribeca.
