1. Judge Evicts 30-Year-Old Son Out of His NY Parents' Home

A couple in New York went to court for help evicting their son from their house. 

A 30-year-old man refused to move out of his parents house. They asked him to go numerous times and when he continued to ignore their pleas, so they took him to court. 

A Supreme Court judge ruled in favor of the parents and ordered the son to move out, but he plans to appeal the decision.

2. Some Subway Lines Getting More Trains to Cut Into Wait Times

Some subway commuters are getting good news. 

Beginning in the fall, the MTA plans to run 16 extra trains during the week on the A, E, D and F subway lines. The additional service is in response to ridership demands at specific times of the day. Bus service in Queens will also see an increase on the weekends.

3. Ships Parade Into New York Harbor to Mark Beginning of Fleet Week

Hello Sailor! Fleet Week is officially here. 

The signature Parade of Ships will kick off the festivities and there will be plenty of activities, festivals and performances taking place.
