1. Tekashi 6ix9ine Pleads Not Guilty to Racketeering Charges

Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine pleaded not guilty to federal racketeering and firearms charges he faces.

The rapper, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, is among five people indicted on charges that he directed or participated in violent acts as part of a deadly gang known as the 9 Trey Bloods.

The indictment alleges that the violent episodes involving 6ix9ine included the July shooting of a bystander in Brooklyn and the gunpoint robbery of one of the gang's rivals last spring.

2. Mice Filmed in Just Salad, CEO Blames Building Rodent Issue

A salad bar blamed its building after up to eight mice were seen running rampant in its midtown location, and said the store was closing permanently next month.

"We closed this store for several days to give our team the Thanksgiving holiday off and did not notice the issue in a timely matter. Rodent activity has been a struggle for the concourse area in general," Just Salad CEO and founder Nick Kenner said in a statement of the Rockefeller Center location.

Kenner added that the brand would moving out of the underground location entirely at the end of December.

3. New York Dog Found in Florida 18 Months After Disappearing

Eighteen months after Sinatra the brown and white Husky disappeared from his home in Brooklyn, he ended up wandering in a Florida neighborhood where 13-year-old Rose Verrill took him in.

Turns out, Sinatra once belonged to 16-year-old Zion Willis, who died in a gun accident in the Bronx in 2015. He'll be reunited with her family in Baltimore.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that while the dog has been found, no one knows how it traveled 1,200 miles from New York to Seffner, which is near Tampa.
