1. Riders in NYC Will Be Able to Purchase Snacks, Electronics in Ubers

Are you ever on the run when you realize you forgot something or suddenly become hungry? A new partnership between Uber and a startup has you covered.

The ride-hailing application announced it is teaming up with Cargo — a company that specializes in small consoles that almost work like a mini-vending machine.

Cargo offers Uber drivers free center-console boxes filled with items that riders can pay for right from their phones. The consoles are filled with snacks, earbuds and even phone chargers.

The partnership will launch in major cities, including New York City, Boston, Minneapolis, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Atlanta and Dallas, Uber said, adding the service is already available in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

2. Would-Be Bank Robber Has Change of Heart Mid-Heist: Report

It was a bizarre case of cold feet and it happened to a suspected bank robber in New Jersey. 

A would-be bank robber changed his mind at the last minute of a heist in Bayonne, but not before passing the teller a note demanding cash, NJ.com reports. 

As the teller was reading the note, he snatched it back and said he waned to open an account instead. 

Now cops are looking for the man.

3. Singer Queen Naija Wreaks Havoc Walking Through Times Square

A famous singer and YouTube star caused a stampede in Times Square Monday afternoon.

Queen Naija was in Times Square to promote her new EP when excited fans caused a melee. Queen Naija has millions of followers on social media. 

Videos posted to social media show huge crowds surrounding the singer as she is carried through the throngs of people. Other videos show masses of people running to catch a glimpse of the star.

At first, people could not identify who was causing the stampede. Some guessed it was Nicki Minaj, others guessed Kylie Jenner was in town, but Queen Naija identified herself on Instagram as the one in the video.
