1. Judge Won't Toss Karina Vetrano Verdict Over Juror's Claims

A judge denied the defense motion to set aside the murder verdict in the 2016 death of 30-year-old Karina Vetrano, who went out for a run one summer day and never came home, and rescheduled her killer's sentencing for the next day.

Chanel Lewis, convicted of all charges, in Vetrano's death earlier this month, was supposed to be sentenced last week.

His lawyers earned him an 11th-hour reprieve, successfully arguing for a hearing on the alleged jury misconduct. But that reprieve was brief; Lewis' sentencing has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

2. NY, One of World's Fashion Capitals, Considers Fur Sale Ban

A burgeoning movement to outlaw fur is seeking to make its biggest statement yet in the fashion mecca of New York City.

Lawmakers are pushing a measure that would ban the sale of all new fur products in the city where such garments were once common and style-setters including Marilyn Monroe, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Joe Namath and Sean "Diddy" Combs have all rocked furs over the years.

A similar measure in the state Capitol in Albany would impose a statewide ban on the sale of any items made with farmed fur and ban the manufacture of products made from trapped fur.

3. Head to Bryant Park to Celebrate Shakespeare's 455th Birthday

It's a milestone birthday Tuesday, with William Shakespeare turning 455 years old. 

Head on over to Bryant Park to celebrate it and catch some of his timeless stories presented with a musical twist.
