1. Grand Jury in NY Indicts Harvey Weinstein on Rape Charges

Harvey Weinstein has been indicted in New York on charges of rape and a criminal sex act. 

While the Manhattan DA said the indictment brings Weinstein one step closer to accountability, the movie mogul's lawyer said the move came from the political pressure and that Weinstein will plead not guilty and file a motion to dismiss the indictment. 

Weinstein has denied all allegations of nonconsensual sex.

2. Drugmaker Shoots Down Roseanne’s Ambien Defense

Roseann Barr is still tweeting and this time she blamed the controversial tweet that led to her show's cancellation on Ambien. 

Sanofi, the maker of the sleep aid, fired back saying "while all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication."

Barr later went on to say she blames herself and it was an explanation not an excuse.

3. Patient Sued for Online Review of Doctor

A Manhattan gynecologist is suing a patient for a $1 million for posting negative reviews online about his practice claiming the doctor billed for the patient didn't receive. 

Lawyers for Dr. Joon Song are accusing the woman of false postings and online harassment.

Her legal fees have reached nearly $20,000 trying to defend herself.

4. The New & Improved Sullivan Street Bakery

Sullivan Street Bakery has been a staple in New York City for more than 25 years and its Hell's Kitchen headquarters recently got a makeover. 

The bakery, which makes bread for more than 330 restaurants in the Big Apple now has a cafe where you can grab one of their signature treats such as pizza Bianca, sandwiches and deserts. 

They even serve alcohol.
