1. Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Staten Island Field

A small plane made an emergency landing in a field on Staten Island not far from where kids were practicing soccer — but no one was injured, law enforcement sources say.

The Piper PA-18 landed in Miller Field in New Dorp around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The plane was forced to land due to poor weather conditions, according to the FAA.

2. NYC Intersection Is Permanently Renamed 'Sesame Street'

If you're still looking how to get to "Sesame Street" — look no further than the west side of Manhattan.

As part of the show's 50th anniversary celebration, the intersection of West 63rd Street and Broadway has been renamed "Sesame Street," where the Sesame Workshop offices are located. And this time it's permanent.

"Fifty years of making people's lives better. Fifty years of having people believe in themselves," Mayor de Blasio said at the event, adding that he was thrilled to celebrate the show and its inclusive message.

3. High School Student Accidentally Asks Wrong Girl to Prom

A Nevada teenager's promposal plans were going smoothly until he accidentally asked the wrong girl to prom.

Austin Mousa, along with his friend Johnny, drove to the girl's house with a box of donuts. However, when they got to the neighborhood, Johnny accidentally led them to the wrong house. After ringing the doorbell, to their surprise a girl they didn't recognize opened the door.

"Oh my gosh," the girl exclaims in a video captured by Mousa's friend. It took several moments for the girl to realize she did not know the boys at her doorstop either.
