1. Awaiting Sentencing, Fyre Festival Impresario Arrested Again

Remember the Fyre Festival?

It's the music getaway in the Bahamas that failed so hard that it became a meme. 

The guy who organized it found himself in cuffs again in NYC. The FBI says the man sold nearly $100,000 in fake tickets to other events. 

He allegedly did it while he was waiting to be sentenced for scamming Fyre Festival investors.

2. Styrofoam Ban in NYC Will Take Effect Starting in January

Your next takeout order will look a little different next year. 

Mayor de Blasio announced a ban on Styrofoam containers is back on after a lawsuit trying to stop it was dismissed. 

The city had passed the ban initially in 2014, but hasn't been able to implement it because of legal challenges. 

It will now go into effect on Jan. 1.

3. NYC's Houston Street Is Among Nation's Top Mispronounced Places

Every New Yorker can tell you the easiest way to spot an out-of-towner is how they pronounce one certain Manhattan street name. 

A new report by Business Insider found Houston Street is one of the most mispronounced place names in the entire country. And while most of Manhattan's residents know it's not pronounced like the city in Texas -- they may not know the reason why. 

It's simple: Houston Street and Houston, Texas, are named after two different people.

4. Get Instagram-Worthy Ice Cream Cones at These NYC Shops

It's almost summer time, which means you need to step your soft serve game up. 

There are a bunch of new ice cream places ready for the season with some pretty Instagram-worthy cones and dishes.
