1. Air Guitar National Finals Are Saturday in Brooklyn

You might think you're an air guitar master, but you can't shred like these pros. 

The Air Guitar National Finals are Saturday night in Brooklyn at Rough Trade in Williamsburg. 

It's pretty competitive and everybody this year is trying to knock off four-time world champion who goes by "Aristotle."

2. Cool Off in the New NYC Rooftop Pools

You already know, but New York City can get hot in the summer. 

Luckily, there are new rooftop pools ready for you to take a dip in. Try the Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn for Tiki drinks and a view that will make your Instagram story the envy of your friends. 

If you want to go big, head to Ravel Hotel in Long Island City in Queens for the largest one in the Big Apple.

3. 7-Mile Stretch of Road From Brooklyn to Central Park Shut Down

A seven-mile stretch of road from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park will be shut down Saturday so 300,000 New Yorkers can do their thing. 

You can run, bike or even walk, but the Big Apple also has a bunch of rest stops with a ton of free activities. 

It's held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
