1. NBC 4 New York, Telemundo 47, Stop & Shop and Food Banks Team Up for Tri-State Food Drive

Kick off the weekend with a good dead. 

Saturday is the second annual "Feeding Our Families" food drive. There are a lot of hungry families out there in the tri-state and you can help make a difference.

2. Brooklyn Botanic Garden Host Annual Festival 

Someone once said that anything is possible with a little sunshine and some pink. 

If you agree then head to Brooklyn Botanic Garden to check out the cherry blossoms at their annual Sakura Matsuri Celebration. It features 60 events and performances.

If you're a shoe addict then you should check out the new Stuart Weitzman Exhibition at the New York Historical Society. 

It's called "Walk This Way" and it showcases over 100 pairs of footwear from the famous designer's private collection.
