1. Tiger Running Rogue in Manhattan? Not Quite

Did you hear about the "tiger" spotting in Manhattan on Thursday?

Well don't freak out, it's not quite what you may think. 

Police say they received a report about a tiger running around in Harlem and it caused a social media frenzy. However, in the end the NYPD said there was a wild animal sighting, but it turned out to be just a raccoon.

2. Hundreds of Thousands Pieces of Trash Wash Up on Jersey Shore

Do you love the Jersey Shore?

Well, it turns out almost 375,000 pieces of trash were collected on New Jersey beaches last year.

Some of the more unusual findings include dentures, a mouse trap, a raw chicken and a strobe light.

3. 2 NYC Rooftop Bars Make New Report of Top 50 Best in the World

Is there a better way to enjoy the warm weather at the end of a long work week than at a rooftop bar in NYC?

A US News and World report unveiled its list of the top 50 rooftop bars in the world and two New York City bars made the list for their amazing views. A third New York bar made the list, in Buffalo.
