About two dozen people attacked a homeless man on the subway and two teenagers were arrested, police said.
The 29-year-old man was panhandling on a northbound A train around 9:30 p.m. Saturday when he was attacked as the train approached the Columbus Circle station in Manhattan, according to police.
About 20 to 30 people assaulted the man, police said.
The man was taken to Saint Luke's Hospital to be treated for minor facial injuries.
Two 16-year-olds, a girl and a boy, were arrested, according to police.

The two Manhattan teens face charges of gang assault, resisting arrest, unlawful assembly, disorderly conduct, assault with intent to cause physical injury, and obstruction of government administration.
