iPhone Sketch Artist on a Train Near You

Whipping from screen to screen - a flourish here, some color there - then sometimes only a stop later - he's done.

Eric Molinsky is just your average New York subway rider, passing the time on his iPhone, except he has mastered the medium of touch screen art.

And just like that, there's sketch after sketch -- face after face, bow-tied and be-spectacled, tired and grumpy, someone whose name should be Boris and one guy who's just out of it. Anyone and everyone is fair game.

The beauty of his work lies in the anonymity of the artist. He's good looking, but there's nothing in particular that would make him stand out in the crowd, unless of course, you look closely and notice his intense purposeness and furied pace of his figers.

Molinsky has been sketching people all his life and says there's nothing quite like faces here in New York City. Given the hundreds of portraits he's drawn this year alone, it's easy to see his love for all of the Big Apple's many characters.

And if you ride the subways you could be next.
