Armed Robbers Steal iPhones on Upper East Side: Cops

The two work as a pair, one as a lookout while the other steals the phone

Police are searching for two men in a series of iPhone robberies on the Upper East Side.

The men work as a team, one a lookout while the other approaches victims and forcibly steals the phones from them while brandishing a handgun, according to police.

The suspects stole iPhones from a 47-year-old woman at Madison Avenue and 70th Street on Nov. 24; a 36-year-old man at 930 Madison on Nov. 26; and a 22-year-old woman near 154 East 70th St. on Dec. 3, police said.

No one was hurt in any of the incidents.
