My daughter's home located in Mountainville New York was submerged in 7 feet of water. We do not live in a flood zone so she did not have flood insurance and is now forced to leave her home because everything from her electrical panel to her boiler where destroyed by the flood.

My friend kayaking in my backyard in Paramus, NJ. The fence to the left is almost completely submerged in this picture. The water is at least six feet deep. Unfortunately, the fence has gone completely under water since the picture was taken. The water has not receded; only gotten worse & has now surrounded both sides of the house & coming around the front. By the way, the backyard is usually beautiful green grass!
