Officials in New York City want to remind everybody not to drink and drive this holiday weekend and are offering a discount for taxis through a mobile app.
The NYPD and NYC DOT are offering a $10 off coupon through the app “Curb,” according to a tweet by the NYC DOT verified account.
Anybody who books a taxi through the app Friday and Saturday between 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. and enters a promo code can get the discount.
It's as simple as having the app downloaded, registering a credit card and setting it as the payment method. Once the ride is booked, the $10 will be applied to the total fare.
