Surveillance Images Show Suspect in Heist at Gwyneth Paltrow's NYC Pop-Up Shop

Police have released images of one of the suspected thieves who hit Gwyneth Paltrow's holiday pop-up shop in New York City over the weekend, pilfering more than $173,000 in jewelry and watches from the Columbus Circle shop.

Images show the suspect walking down the street around the time Paltrow's Goop shop was robbed on Saturday afternoon. Police say he and two other thieves hit the temporary store inside The Shops at Columbus Circle, inside the Time Warner Center. The heist came during one of the store's busiest days.

Police say one of the suspects used some kind of object to open a cabinet containing the merchandise while the employees were distracted.

A statement from Goop says its customers and staff are safe, and the store remains open for business "with proper security precautions in place."

The store is open through Dec. 24.

Anyone with information about the thieves is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
