Power Restored in Greenwich After Outage Knocks Out Thousands of Customers

Power was restored by 10 p.m.

More than 10,000 customers lost power in Greenwich, Connecticut Tuesday evening, utility officials say.

The outage was reported at around 5:30 p.m., according to Eversource, and when crews were working to restore power they found additional damage to the electrical system that caused 3,000 more outages.

Power was restored by 10 p.m.

Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the outage.
