A 66-year-old man was arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a 13-year-old girl's leg on the subway two separate times, police said.
Walter Polanco, of Queens, has been arrested and charged with stalking and forcible touching, the NYPD said.
Police say Polanco was riding the 7 train in Queens last month when he forcibly touched the girl’s inner thigh as the subway was entering the Queensboro Plaza station in Long Island City.
Police say Polanco struck again two weeks later on the 5 train at the 86th Street station in Manhattan, where he once again touched the girl’s thigh.
Polanco got off the train several stops later, according to police. Officials said they weren't sure if he was following the teenager or if they happened to have the same morning commute.
Polanco's attorney information wasn't immediately available Thursday.
