Police are looking for three women described as people of interest in a vicious attack on a 24-year-old woman and her father in Brooklyn last month that left the pair with a combined 12 stitches and the daughter with staples in her head.

Authorities say the three women are wanted for questioning in the attack before 4 a.m. July 29 outside what appears to be a medical office on Bay Ridge Parkway. Cops say they may have been part of a group of about nine people who walked up to the woman and her 48-year-old father and started to punch and kick them.

Both victims were taken to a hospital, where the daughter needed staples to close the wounds in her head, along with eight stitches above her eye. She also suffered a broken nose. Her father had two black eyes, facial swelling and needed four stitches above his lip.

Cops have not released a motive for the attack, and it's not clear if words were exchanged prior. It's also not known if the victims knew their attackers.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
