An 18-year-old man died late Monday night after being shot in the back in Brooklyn, police say.

Police got a shooting call to 53rd Street and Avenue J in Flatbush at about 10:15 p.m.. When officers arrived, they learned that someone had driven the victim to Kings County Hospital, police say.

The man, Jethro Ismael, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
