More than a half dozen fire departments rushed to the fiery scene of a gas station completely engulfed in flames on Long Island, crews said.
The call came in shortly before 3 a.m. Monday for the out of control fire that took over the gas station in Nesconset, firefighters said.
Nobody was injured in the blaze that eight different fire departments responded to, officials said. Some firefighters came as far away as Stonybrook.
It took firefighters about two hours to get the fire completely under control.
Video from the scene shows the blaze chewing through the building completely as smoke filled the air.
