FDNY pulled a person from the water in Central Park Thursday afternoon.
FDNY says divers went into the water at 106th Street and 5th Avenue inside the park after receiving the call around 1:46 p.m.
They pulled a victim from the water who was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in critical condition. The individual was not publicly identified.
The circumstances of how the person wound up in the water are unclear.
