And the Tri-State's Favorite Candies Are…

Sour Patch Kids, candy corns and Reese's cups top the list of New Yorkers' favorite candies, according to a new survey.

The findings come from sales data taken over the last 10 years by CandyStore.com, one of the leading bulk candy dealers online. In the decade from 2007 through 2016, over 200,000 pounds of Sour Patch Kids; 101,000 pounds of candy corn; and 56,000 pounds of Reese's Cups have been shipped to New York.

Those with sweet tooths in New Jersey, meanwhile, love Skittles (159,000 pounds), Tootsie Pops (157,000 pounds) and M&Ms (110,000 pounds), in that order.

In Connecticut, meanwhile, Almond Joy (2,400 pounds), Milky Way (1,900 pounds) and M&Ms (1,000 pounds) are the top three shipped candies.

The National Retail Federation estimates that $2.7 billion will be spent on Halloween candy this year.
