Man Made $5K Worth in Purchases at LI Gas Station With Fake Credit Card: Police

Police in Long Island are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say used a fake credit card to make purchases at a gas station.

The man allegedly used the fake card between Dec. 20 and Jan. 19 at a Gulf gas station in Brentwood.

Police say he charged about $5,000 in gas, cigarettes and other items.

The suspect was caught on surveillance images (shown above) wearing a pink jacket and fleeing in a white van.
