A robber snatched the necklace off of an 84-year-old woman walking in Manhattan on Saturday, police said.
The woman was walking on First Avenue in Stuyvesant Town when the man grabbed the chain she was wearing, the NYPD said. She wasn't hurt.
The robber ran north on First Avenue and then west on 16th Street, police said.
The suspect is about 20 years old and was wearing a black coat, blue jeans and sneakers, police said.
