Elderly Man Punched in the Face, Thrown Against a Wall: Cops

A man punched and threw an elderly man against a wall in Brooklyn last month following some sort of argument, police say.

On April 30 at 5 a.m., the 20-something-year-old man and 78-year-old man had gotten into a fight in Sunset Park, according to the NYPD.

The suspect punched the victim’s face several times, authorities said.

He then continued to beat up the man by throwing him into a wall, officials said.

The suspect then ran down the stairs and away from the scene, police said.

Video from the scene shows the suspect wearing a black and white shirt delivering a blow the man’s face before grabbing him and tossing him into the stairwell wall.

It was not immediately clear what led to the argument between the two men.

Police on Monday night released surveillance images of the man in hopes of catching him.
