New Jersey police are investigating the slaying of a Newark man killed early Saturday morning during a fight at a concert in Edison.
Jayson Perry, 21, was pronounced dead after 1:30 a.m at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison after police say he was stabbed during a party at Mirage, a restaurant and catering hall on Oak Tree Road.
Five other people were stabbed and one other man sustained a superficial gunshot wound during a melee that began shortly after 1 a.m
The Mirage club was hosting a show by rapper French Montana, but the show hadn't started by the time the fight broke out.
