Duane Reade Thieves Steal $18,000 Worth of Over-the-Counter Medication

Two men have been stealing thousands of dollars worth of over-the-counter medication from Duane Reade drugstores across Manhattan, and they're now wanted for grand larceny, police say.

The men have been going into the drugstores across the Upper East and Upper West sides since November, wiping out shelves of over-the-counter medication, about $1,000 to $3,400 worth each time, police say. 

In total, they've stolen about $18,000 worth of the drugs. 

The thieves targeted a Duane Reade at 2522 Broadway on Nov. 22; a Duane Reade at 2407 Broadway on Dec. 1 and again on Dec. 27; a Rite Aid at 1535 2nd Ave. on Dec. 9; a Duane Reade at 1740 1st Ave. on Jan. 19; a Duane Reade at 1889 Broadway on Feb. 2, March 13 and April 27; a Duane Reade at 325 Columbus Ave. on March 23; and a Duane Reade at 1241 Lexington Ave. on May 5.
