Hundreds of Pounds of Pot, Oil Seized From New Jersey Man's Home

The estimated street worth of the seized drugs is $750,000, prosecutors said

A 33-year-old New Jersey man has been busted with more than 200 pounds of high-grade pot and more than 15 pounds of marijuana oil, a drug haul worth about three-quarters of a million dollars, investigators alleged Friday.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's office said authorities had been looking into Miguel Capellan, of North Bergen, for months. On Wednesday, narcotics detectives arrested him following a search of his home and garage.

Five vehicles, about $100,000 in cash and a stolen handgun were also seized.

Capellan faces a number of charges, including money laundering, drug possession and possession with intent to distribute. It wasn't immediately clear if he had retained an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
