Man Steals $108 Girl Scouts Raised to Help U.S. Troops Overseas: Police

Police are looking for a man who stole a Girl Scouts donation jar containing more than $100 from a counter at a Long Island auto repair shop earlier this month.

Authorities say the suspect stole the jar at King Bear Auto Service Centers on Sunrise Highway March 10.

The donation jar had $108 in it. The Girl Scouts were collecting the money to help members of the military stationed overseas.

Police released a surveillance image of the suspect (above).
