Metro-North Lines Briefly Hampered by Fallen Trees

The commuter rail's Harlem and New Haven Lines were both delayed Thursday afternoon after reports of fallen trees in Tremont and Fordham, respectively

Fallen trees caused delays on a pair of Metro-North lines ahead of Thursday's evening rush, the MTA said.

The commuter rail's Harlem and New Haven Lines were both delayed Thursday afternoon after reports of fallen trees in Tremont and Fordham, respectively.

Delays on the lines topped 50 minutes at about 3:30 p.m., but it appeared that most of the slowdowns had been cleared up by about 4:30 p.m.
