Cops discovered a grisly scene when they were called to check out a report of an "unconscious female" in a suitcase in East Harlem early Wednesday.
Authorities say someone called 911 at about 12:15 a.m. after apparently seeing a foot sticking out of the luggage.

The Medical Examiner ruled that the woman had been murdered and that the cause of death of was "neck compression."
The gruesome find was made on 114th Street near Thomas Jefferson Park. It's likely that the victim was killed elsewhere and dumped there, said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.
