A man was shot dead in front of his girlfriend in front of the College Point Multiplex Cinemas in Queens following an argument and a fender bender early Monday, police say.
The deadly altercation stemmed from an argument inside the Club Angels Strip Club -- incidentally the same club where rapper Cardi B allegedly ordered violent assaults on bartenders last month -- which then spilled out onto the road, according to police.
Four masked men in a vehicle chased after a black Lexus sedan around 3:30 a.m., ramming into numerous other vehicles before ultimately rear-ending the Lexus with the couple inside, police said. The masked men then jumped out of their car, pulled the victims out at gunpoint and began arguing.
One of the men then shot the 25-year-old victim, later identified as Jaquan Campbell of Brooklyn, in the chest, killing him, police said. Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was not injured.
The men fled the scene in both cars, leaving the woman standing alone in the middle of the street in the dead of the night. Both vehicles, along with two firearms, were found ditched nearby, one of them at 26th Avenue and 120th Street.
Chopper 4 over the scene showed a heavy police investigation just outside the theater.
No arrests have been made.
