A 27-year-old babysitter allegedly stabbed a 27-year-old Bronx mother after the two got into an argument over money, the NYPD said.
Authorities responded to a report of a stabbing on East 229th Street in Edenwald around 2:45 p.m. on Monday, the FDNY said.
The mom was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, police said. Details on her injuries weren't immediately clear.
The babysitter, identified as Miriahm Palmoa, was arrested on charges including assault, acting in a manner injurious to a child and menacing, according to police.
Information on an attorney for her wasn't immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
