Homeless Man Wanted in 60 Thefts From Cars Arrested

Detectives say they've been looking for the man since August

A 33-year-old homeless man has been arrested in connection with more than 60 thefts from cars in New York City and on Long Island.

Michael Taylor had been wanted in the spree since last summer, according to detectives. In each case, he allegedly broke into victims' cars and stole property, including credit cards and identifications he used to make fraudulent purchases.

Taylor was arrested Wednesday. He faces multiple counts of reckless endangerment, grand larceny, identity theft and other crimes.

It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
