A driver slammed into a Chinese fast-food restaurant in a New Jersey town Monday afternoon, but no one was inside was hurt, authorities say.
It's not clear what caused the driver to lose control at the Clark Commons Shopping Center at 1255 Raritan Rd. at about 2 p.m.
The vehicle slammed through the window of the Panda Express restaurant, police said. Part of the storefront was entirely smashed in, and broken glass littered the floor, along with some upended tables and chairs inside, video shows.
No customer inside was hurt. Police said the driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver has not been charged but investigation is ongoing.
