Man Arrested in Deadly Shooting of Brooklyn Cab Driver; 2nd Suspect Sought

The NYPD has arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting of a livery cab driver found dead in the front seat of a car in Brooklyn.

Police arrested 24-year-old Tyrell Gardenhire of Brooklyn on Friday and charged him with murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.

Police are seeking a second suspect in Monday's fatal shooting of 35-year-old Naji Fawaz.

Officers found the Fawaz unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the neck and torso.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It wasn't immediately known if Gardenhire has a lawyer.
