Police released surveillance video of an armed robbery taking place at a Brooklyn business Tuesday in the hope that the public can help identify the suspects.
The man seen in the video worked with a woman to rob or try to rob three Brooklyn businesses Dec. 27, according to police.
The first incident happened at about 4:45 p.m. at 180 Rockaway Ave., when the suspects walked into the Broadway Junction business, showed a gun and demanded cash from the worker, police said.
Minutes later, at about 5:05 p.m., the male suspect walked into the Metro PCS store at 142 Rockaway Ave., showed a gun and demanded cash, police said. He fled without any money, however.
Later, at about 7:05 p.m., the two suspects entered another Metro PCS store at 455 Sutter Ave. in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, showed a gun and stole cash. The two fled with a safe from the store.
Anyone with information on the suspects or the robberies is asked to contact police at nypdcrimestoppers.com or at 800-577-TIPS.
