Brooklyn Man Arrested in Deadly Shootings at Staten Island Business: NYPD

Police say they've arrested a Brooklyn man in the pair of deadly shootings last month at a cash advance company on Staten Island.

Ricky Dennis, 32, has been arrested in the Jan. 24 shootings at Universal Merchant Funding on Buel Avenue, police say. Charges were pending.

Michael Genovese, 57, of Edgewater, New Jersey, and Carl Clark, 57, both employees at the company, were counting money in the back of the building when a masked man burst in and shot them each three times in the head, killing them, law enforcement sources told NBC 4 New York at the time.

Police had taken someone into custody for questioning the day after the killings, but the person had not been charged. It's not clear if Dennis is the same suspect.
