Police are searching for a man who allegedly grabbed a woman inside a Brooklyn building and dragged her into the boiler room, where he brutally attacked and raped her Wednesday morning.
The attacker grabbed the 60-year-old victim from behind, covered her mouth and dragged her into the boiler room of a building on the 400 block of Berriman Street in East New York at about 6 a.m., police said.
The man punched her in the face repeatedly and raped her, according to police.
The suspect was wearing dark-colored maintenance-type clothing.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital. The Brooklyn Special Victims Unit is investigating.
